Thayer's Marine was founded in 1966 by father and son team Dick and Rich Thayer on a $200 loan from Dick's father. Since then, the business has grown to serving people throughout the country (and abroad) while three generations of Thayers work hard everyday to keep customers coming back.
We ask our loyal customers why they come back again and again to buy their second... third... and fourth boat. The common response is that when they are here, they feel like they are part of the family. We are very proud of that.  We work very hard to create a warm friendly family atomsphere.Â
Our small staff and low overhead allow us to provide you with "remember your name service" and competitive box store pricing.  We try very hard to keep our prices down so that those who like to shop here because of our customer service will benefit from our competitive pricing.
We encourage everyone to stop by to shop the store, pick up some bait, check out the new 2011 inventory, or for a doughnut on Saturday mornings just to say "hey".
