Brother and sister Richie and Rachel Thayer have been behind the Thayer's Marine parts counter since they were old enough to walk, and if there is a part you need, they will get it for you! We not only have shelf after shelf in room after room of parts, but we also have the knowledge and experience to back those parts and give you the tips and advice you need to get your motor running.

We are also willing to price match and Richie refuses to be undersold. He does everything he can to get you the lowest price. If you find a part at another location for less, be sure to let him know and he will match or even beat that price. He wants you to keep coming back to Thayer's Marine!

HiLiner Restoration

Sometime in the 1950s in Ipswich, MA, HiLiner was born. It is a small New England boat brand, and we are a small New England boating family. The old generation has a a certain passion for these boats, and so this winter we decided to take on a small project. My father wanted to show everyone that we were moving into fiberglass repair - although we have been doing it for years and we are quite good at it - and he wanted to show our customers the extent of our in-house repair abilities. A friend told him about this HiLiner, and already having completed one several year ago, he decided to take on another. It came to us in shambles, saturated with water, along with a bare, broken dual console inboard/outboard. We have since separated the top cap and hull and are in the midst of a full restoration and change. This once inboard/outboard-powered boat will now have a bracketed outboard hanging off the back. These boats were not built long, but they were great, and we are going to carry on that tradition. We will be updating this as more pictures become available and work progresses.
